Whether you need a daily or weekly cleaner, someone to iron your clothes or water your flowers whilst on holiday, we are here to provide a reliable, professional and affordable service tailored to your exact needs and requirements.

Our business philosophy is simply to provide outstanding customer care and exceptional value for money. We want our customers to be delighted with Helen’s Home Services and we want our staff to be happy to work for us. To that end each contract is monitored continuously by good communication between us, the client and the cleaner.

We believe that to be successful we must demonstrate a caring, respectful and professional attitude to your home. We train our cleaners that this is not a standard job, each house has its own character and must be treated appropriately. When it comes to your property security and performance will never be compromised. That is why our customers stay with us, and many introduce us to their friends.

Our StaffOur Staff

We fully understand your concerns about allowing someone new into your house, especially when you are not at home. Therefore we have implemented a number of security procedures to ensure that reliability, confidentiality and security are maintained.

In order to provide the best service our cleaners must provide the following:

  • Proof of address (utility bill, credit card or bank statement, council tax bill)
  • 2 Proofs of identity (Passport, Driving licence with photo, Health Card)
  • Details of next of kin for emergency
  • Work permit or visa if applicable
  • 2 valid references (we always check them)

We meet and vet our cleaners in their own house to confirm the exact address. We only accept original documents, not copies.

For us, recruiting a cleaner is a stringent selection process, which is monitored and updated continuously. We ask each referee to comment on reliability, trust and honesty, time keeping, good standards and motivation factors. If we decide that a cleaner is suitable, then a contract is signed for no less than 6 months.

No cleaner would be employed without providing the required documents or references.
